KIA. On February 6, 1968, a patrol of coalition troops was attached near the Tuy Loan River, Quang Nam Province. James’ platoon arrived to provide assistance under heavy fire. James was killed in action by a gunshot wound to the head. James was the son of Robert and Cleo Fuchs of Vermillion.
